It's finally here!! 

The long awaited party to celebrate the release of "Tales from the Typewriter" a CD of Steve's original music.  Steve and The Curbfeelers will be playing for the party so mark your calendars now and come prepared to dance and have a good time.

DATE:        June 17, 2005
TIME:         5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
LOCATION:    Club 202 - located at 202 N. 5th Street in downtown Columbus.  Club 202 is 1/2 block north of the intersection of East Long St. and North 5th St.  It's right behind another club called Slammers which is on E. Long St. just a block east of the intersection of North 4th St. and E. Long St.
PARKING:    There is a lot directly across from Club 202 where parking is free after 5:00 p.m. Parking is also available at meters on E. Long and N. 5th. 
CD Purchase:  For those who wish to purchase a CD, they will be available for purchase at the party for $10.00
FOOD:  You can order pizza, salads and subs from Slammers and have them delivered to Club 202.

Tales from the Typewriter
Steve Harper, vocalist, guitarist and songwriter, and members of The Curbfeelers have been a fixture on the music scene for 40 years around Columbus and the rest of the Midwest as well as performing nationally. After years of playing clubs and opening for national acts, Steve has assembled a fine group of former band members to record this CD. “Tales from the Typewriter” features his original mix of blues, rock, R & B and Chicago shuffles with shades of jazz. Soulful vocals, a tight rhythm section and hot guitar, keyboards and sax are highlights of this recording. Backing Steve’s vocals are seasoned veterans who are exceptional performing and studio musicians. They include guitar player Randy Ross, keyboardist Mark Kreis, Joe Crump and Steve Willis share saxophone duties, Allen Thayer on bass and Louis Tsamous on drums. The CD was recorded on two-inch Analog tape and transferred to a digital format giving the CD a live, expansive feel.
